They’re worth the effort you the two of you are compatible with each other in terms of friendship and have the same interests/likes. They’re also worth it if they are willing to learn and explore with you so they can please you in ways you enjoy. That being said, sometimes you may think you found someone who you click with, and you might, but they might not be compatible as your pet.
95% of the time it’s the “doms” who aren’t worth the effort. Majority of them just want a online roleplaying dynamic so they can have something to jerk off to. If you are actually knowledgeable about petplay, have a kind heart, have good communication skills, know how to respect boundaries, know how to take personal responsibility, know how to negotiate, then you’re already leagues ahead. It’s also about finding someone who you’re on the same wavelength as.
