I don’t even know if I can picture the equivalent of a perfect “friendly mom” voice that sounds warm and friendly like a teddy bear and then the ability to go back and forth and ALSO mix, bone chilling cold merciless serial killer and immature petty bully later. Then unhinged fury of a roaring beast during the intense scenes.
I really don’t even know what that would sound like. I can’t even picture the voice in my head. I just know if they managed to actually capture the character, she might be even more scary than Nolan in some ways.
Wouldn’t have quite the same effect of being a way too close for comfort depiction of an abusive father. So that really uncomfortable aspect would be lessened. Still.
